JASON PEARCE WILLOME
 /  (1 of 5)

Jason Pearce Willome grew up in Mico, Texas – an unicorporated community northwest of San Antonio, cleverly named after the irrigation company that built the local dam (the Medina Irrigation Co). Jason graduated from San Antonio College and the University of Texas at Austin in 2000, and moved to Boulder, where he earned an MFA from the University of Colorado in 2003. Jason recently lived in Honolulu, where he worked as an assistant professor at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, and managed to entirely avoid surfing. He now lives in San Antonio, where he teaches at Northwest Vista College, and spends most of his time working on his new home with his wife, Christi, and drinking copious amounts of sweet tea.
